Serious fog

6

I earlier made an innocent remark about a foggy morning in Quincy, Illinois. I should have known better, for no sooner than I pressed the publish button, my foggy brother in foggy San Mateo, California, sent a few foggy pictures to teach this flatlander what a real fog looks like. Good shots, even though they were sent with some malice aforethought. I particularly like the one showing a living fog creeping over the mountains.

Around here we call those clouds… low lying clouds maybe. If your brother is foggy what does that make mine?

Hey boss! I miss fog and other non-hurricane weather such as winter. 🙂

These are nice foggy pictures. I’d never heard of the term fog (is that it?) until Laura and family moved to San Diego.

Well, we have quite a few foggy days here in Quincy (and in O’Fallon, I’m sure). Did you just figure that a cloud lost too much altitude?

Haha I just noticed my tricky iPad replaced the word I typed, “sea fog” with just “fog”. “Sea fog” is the term Laura introduced me to.
